Weber Slogan Contest Winners Announced!

Congratulations to Mrs. Imbriani's 8th grade home base for submitting the winning slogan,

"One Text, One Call, Could Wreck it All!"

The slogan will be turned into a logo and used to help us promote safe driving.  Good work guys!  Now go enjoy the winners' donut party!

We were driving home on 17E a little while ago and around Roscoe, we passed a sign that said "It Can Wait!  Text Stop 5 miles."  Three miles later there was a another one.  I jumped out for a photo.  When we got to the text stop, there were people standing around looking at their phones!  (Of course, maybe they would have been doing that anyway!) It's great that others are taking action to make driving safer for everybody!

Contest at Weber Middle School

We are currently running a contest at Weber to come up with a slogan to help empower kids.  We hope that all middle schoolers will participate.  You'll be saving lives!  Here's a copy of the flyer that is circulating.  Tell your kids to ask their homebase teacher about it!

I often see these two AT&T commercials on the television. It breaks my heart to watch them, and I sometimes start to tear up. Nobody expected or wanted these things to happen, but unfortunately they did. Accidents affect the drivers and victims. Everybody have a safe, happy holiday!

Dell Transportation's Safe-driving Technology

In our own town, efforts have been made to keep school buses and the students in them as safe as possible while the bus is in motion:
